Course Overview

The administration topics of Automic Workload Automation are divided into two parts: working on the physical machines and administering inside the software itself. This bundle is based upon the former—taking a look at the machines where the installation resides. You will learn about the connections between machines, the configuration files, and permissions needed to allow smooth running of your system.

A specific walk-through installing all of the major components on Windows and Unix are demonstrated. Students are given a good understanding of the role of the specific .ini files and their configurations as well as the various executables and permissions needed to successfully start up an AWA environment.
